Recorded especially for Record Store Day in Japan, France's keyboard maestro Mr Gee aka Booker Gee aka Guillaume Metenier has crafted a must-have donut. Heavily inspired by JB's 'The Popcorn', the A-side is a jerkin' bass and drum-driven groove, with Gee tickling the Hammond sparsely, a few slick licks on the guitar too make this a raw dub-funk beauty. Slikk Tim's drums, in particular, are so tight, shuffling yet snappy, totally on point to be precise. Flip for an excellent rendition of Sound Dimension's 'Granny Scratch', once again a raw cut that features Slikk Tim on drums/bass and guitar duties with Gee on keyboards. It's a super-solid cover, giving it a little tighten up over the OG, but still keeping its raw nature firmly in place. A double-sided must-have 45, limited to only 350 worldwide and I'll wager that most will get snapped up over in Japan.

We found a box of this 7" in our basement and are selling 10 singles exclusively on Bandcamp - recommended for vinyl & funk addicts only
